Qingdao University 2020 Information Sheet

For International Master & Doctor Applicants

一、申请Application

★申请资格：持有外国护照的非中国籍公民,品德良好，愿意遵守中国的法律、法规及学校纪律。身体健康并符合国家“外国来华留学生健康检查标准”，汉语授课专业要求HSK5级210分及以上。对中英文授课以英文为主的学位点，来自英语为母语的国家或英语水平达到接受授课要求的学生申请攻读学位，其汉语水平不作要求。

Admissions Eligibility: Foreigner who has a legal passport, is healthy and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government Academic credentials equal to or above that of a Chinese bachelor’s or master’s degree. HSK level 5（210+） is required for Chinese Taught Programs. No requests from English Taught Programs for students from English speaking countries.

汉语国际教育专业硕士 Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages（建议申请孔子学院奖学金 CIS Scholarship Available）

英文授课English- taught Program：纺织科学与工程硕士、博士Master or Ph. D. of Textile Science and Engineering（建议申请中国政府奖学金 CSC Scholarship Available）

★同堂授课：Classroom Teaching:

我校有权授予博士、硕士学位的学科、专业均可以招收和培养外国来华留学研究生。

All the Masters & Doctor majors are open for applicants.

★申请时间：2020年4月20日前(各类奖学金申请者以奖学金须知为准）

Application time：Before April 20, 2020（Scholarships may have different deadline）

★申请材料：Application Materials:

1、青岛大学学历留学生申请表(在线填写)

Application form for degree-seeking international students in Qingdao university（Fill in online）

2、护照复印件(扫描上传)

Copy of your passport（Scan upload）

3、学历证明文件，须为中文或英文的原件或公证件(扫描上传)
注：应届毕业生在申请时提供预计毕业证明或在学证明，被录取后须补交学历证明文件方可获得录取资格。

Certificate of academic qualifications, must be original or notarized in Chinese or English.（Scan upload）

Note: Fresh graduates are required to provide proof of graduation or proof of attendance. They must be required to submit academic credentials to be eligible for admission.

4、最高学历阶段成绩单，须为中文或英文原件扫描件或公证件(扫描上传)

Highest academic transcript，must be original or notarized in Chinese or English.（Scan upload）

5、已就业者提交工作证明(扫描上传)

Work certificate.（Scan upload）

6、HSK5级成绩（中文授课专业）(扫描上传)

Certificate(HSK5 is required by programs taught in Chinese)（Scan upload）

7、英语水平证明（英文授课专业）(扫描上传)

 Certificate of English proficiency（Scan upload）

·英语为官方语言的申请者；Applicants with English as native language are exempted from English language certificate.

·雅思成绩达到6.0或以上，或者托福成绩达到90或以上；Applicants from non-English speaking countries must provide IELTS (6.0 or above), new TOEFL (90 points or above) or other comparable certification of English proficiency.

·上一学历阶段的授课语言为英语的证明；Applicants who have obtained their highest degree with English as the medium of instruction are exempted from providing language proficiency certification, but proof indicating the language medium is required.

8、两名副教授或相当职称以上专家、学者的推荐信。(扫描上传)

Recommendation letters from two associate professors, experts, or scholars with equal title.（Scan upload）

9、经济担保函及担保人身份证明Financial Guarantee Statement with front page of the sponsor’s passport or proof of identification.

10、预录取流程表。请联系导师或学院完成预录取流程，提交该表者优先录取。汉语国际教育专业和纺织科学与工程专业无须预录取。

Pre-admission Application. Please contact professor or department to finish this appliaciton form. Applicants who finished this application could get the preferential admission. Master of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages and Master or Ph. D. of Textile Science and Engineering do not need per-admission letter.

二、奖学金Available Scholarships

我校现在提供留学生奖学金项目有中国政府奖学金、山东省政府奖学金、青岛市政府奖学金、校长奖学金和国家汉办孔子学院奖学金。

Our school now offers scholarship programs for international students: Chinese Government Scholarship（CSC）,Confucius Institute Scholarship（CIS）,Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship（SDPS）, Qingdao Government Scholarship(QDS), President Scholarship( PS) are provided by Qingdao University.

三、费用 Fees

★申请费：400元人民币（待报名信息审核通过后，发送邮件告知缴费账号,上传缴费凭证）也可以直接到办公室支付现金，申请费用不予退还。

Application Fee： 400RMB(After the registration information is approved, the account will be sent by email to the registered email address, upload the proof of paying the registration fee.)This payment can be made by bank transfer or in cash. Application fee cannot be returned.

四、网上申请流程 Online application process

★请在报名开放时间内，登录青岛大学外国留学生申请系统：http://istudy.qdu.edu.cn/apply注册并如实在线填写信息。

Please log in the foreign student application system of Qingdao university within the registration opening time:http://istudy.qdu.edu.cn/register and truthfully fill in the information online.

★经由我校审核报名信息后，请上传报名费缴纳凭证。

After checking the registration information, please upload the proof of paying the registration fee.

★我校确认收费凭证后，转由学科审核，请关注注册邮箱提醒信息。

After confirming the fee voucher, we will transfer your application to the department. Please pay attention to the registration email reminder.

★*奖学金申请者请参考对应类型的“奖学金须知”，在材料通过学校审核后完成在线申请。

If you are an applicant who is applying for scholarship, please refer to the corresponding scholarship notes. Continue filling up online after your application has been accepted.

五、住宿Dormitory

青岛大学拥有不同规格和条件的留学生宿舍，具体信息查看“住宿指南”或者发邮件fengmowei514@126.com咨询。

六、录取Admission

申请者需根据学校要求参加考试或面试。合格后，学校将发给申请人《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表），以便申请人申请来华学习（X1）签证。签证申请有关信息请咨询当地中国使领馆。

Applicants will be required to take the standard entrance examination and interview. Candidates who pass the exams will receive an “Admission Notice” and “Visa Application for International Students and Scholars to China (JW202 Form).” Please apply for an X1 visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country by using our materials. The details of visa process please check from the Chinese Embassy or Consulate.

七、报到Registration

报到时间预计2020年8月底—9月初，具体时间以《录取通知书》为准。录取的学生须严格按照录取通知书规定的时间到校办理入学、注册手续。

The registration time will be end August 2020 OR early September. You are required to register at the International Students Office during the registration period specified in Admission Notice.

八、管理培养 Management and Academic  

外国留学研究生的日常管理、培养、毕业、学位授予等工作参照青岛大学相关文件执行。硕士（博士）研究生在学习期满，成绩合格，通过硕士（博士）论文答辩者学校将发给毕业证书，并按照青岛大学学位授予条例授予硕士（博士）学位。按照学籍管理规定，对于考试成绩不合格的研究生、博士生，将根据不同情况发给结业证书或写实性证明。

There are Management/Academic/Graduate and degree rules for international students. The Qingdao University will be able to award you a Diploma and your Degree Certificate if you are successfully in completing your studies and pass your thesis.If you fail to graduate you will be awarded a certificate from the University certifying that you have studied at Qingdao University.
