“Qingdao Government Scholarship” for Prospective International Students
“青岛市政府外国留学生奖学金”是青岛市政府为促进我市外国留学生教育发展，吸引优秀外国留学生来青就学，提高我市高校国际影响力而设立的政府奖学金。青岛大学“青岛市政府外国留学生奖学金”评审工作本着“公开、公平、公正”的原则进行评定。青岛大学“青岛市政府外国留学生奖学金”分为新生奖学金和优秀在校生奖学金。两项奖学金不能重复享受。
Qingdao Government Scholarship for Foreign Students is set up by Qingdao Government in order to encourage international students to come to Qingdao for study and scientific research. Qingdao government scholarship for foreign students’ is divided into freshmen scholarship and outstanding student scholarship. Two scholarships cannot be re - enjoyed.
一、申请条件 Category & Eligibility
1）申请人须为外国籍公民、身体健康，年龄一般在18至40周岁之间。
Application is open to applicant who owns a non-Chinese citizenship, aged between 18 and 40, in good health condition.
2) 申请者需遵守中国法律法规，学习成绩优异，表现良好，符合青岛大学留学生入学标准要求。
Applicants must abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government, behave well and meet the entrance requirements of Qingdao University.
3) 学业成绩优秀且未同时获得其他各类奖学金；
Only applicants that have not received other sorts of fund or scholarship could apply for the scholarship.
二、奖学金类别及要求SCHOLARSHIP TYPES & QUALIFICATIONS
1.硕士6人 Master’s Degree Quota:6
1) 奖学金内容 Scholarship Coverage
资助内容包括学费、校内基本住宿费和留学生来华综合保险。
This scholarship provides full coverage tuition fee, on-campus accommodation fee and comprehensive medical insurance expenses.
2) 要求 Qualifications：
2018年9月入学，汉语国际教育专业硕士（2年制）申请者优先。
Commences in September 2018, and applicants for Master’s Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages (MTCSOL) are preferred.
HSK5级210分或以上，其他要求及申请材料请参考硕士入学指南：

This scholarship provides full coverage tuition fee and comprehensive medical insurance expenses for the first year.
2）要求 QUALIFICATIONS：

Commences in September 2018, applicants for Bachelor degree in Software Engineering (4 years, taught in English. Please infer to http://clc.qdu.edu.cn/info/1127/2094.htm) is preferred.
3. 汉语言本科 Bachelor Degree for Chinese Language
1) 奖学金内容 Scholarship Coverage
资助内容包括第一学期学费和留学生来华综合保险。
This scholarship provides tuition fee and comprehensive medical insurance expenses for the first semester.
2）要求 QUALIFICATIONS：
2018年9月入学汉语言本科专业（4年制，申请方法请见:http://clc.qdu.edu.cn/info/1134/2014.htm）.
Commences in September 2018, applicants for Bachelor degree in Chinese Language (4 years. Please infer to http://clc.qdu.edu.cn/info/1134/2014.htm) is preferred.
4.长期进修生， 资助期限为一学期，校企合作“一带一路”项目申请者优先。项目时间和其他待遇根据协议商定。
Scholarship is for One-semester, students from Cooperation Programs of “One Belt One Road” are proffered. More coverage will follow the specific agreement.

2）个人申请陈述，内容应包括个人学习和工作经历以及未来发展规划等，需用中文或英文书写；
Personal Statement (Include: Personal study and work experience, future plan for study; Written in English or Chinese).
3）相关获奖证书。Relevant Award Certificate.

四、评审 Review
在校时间1年或以上的硕博生须参加奖学金年度评审，年度评审主要从学习成绩、学习态度和考勤情况、行为表现和奖惩情况进行综合评价，作为下一学年是否继续享受奖学金的标准。学习期限在一年以上的硕博同学须于每年3月注册时到留学生办公室领取评审表参加年度评审。无故不参加年度评审或年度评审不合格者取消奖学金资格。
PH&D and Mater in school for 1 year or more than 1 year are required to participate in the Annual Review, the annual review mainly focus on the academic, learning attitude, attendance, behavior ,rewards and punishment to conduct a comprehensive evaluation as next year’s criteria whether to continue to enjoy the scholarship or not. PH&D and Mater studying for a period more than one year, when registering in March every year please go to the International Student Office to get the annual Review Form to participate in the annual review. Not participating in the annual review without reason or failing in the annual review will cause the cancelation of the scholarship.

六、申请和公布时间 Application time
新生奖学金申请者须于2018年5月20日前将所有申请材料提交至青岛大学国际教育学院留学生招生办公室，评审结果一般在申请材料确认有效后45个工作日内发布。评审结束后，学校将发给申请人《录取通知书》和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）和奖学金获奖通知书等入学材料，以便申请人申请来华签证。签证申请有关信息请咨询当地中国使领馆。
Applicants should submit all the application documents before May.20, 2018. Qingdao University will conduct an overall assessment of all applications and admit applicants on the basis of competitive selection. Normally, the admission results will be announced within 45 working days after the application materials are confirmed as valid.
After confirming with the successful applicants, Admission Office will post “Letter of Admission”, “Visa Application Form for Foreigners to Study in China" (JW202 Form), copy of the scholarship certificate and other relevant documents to applicants. Please apply for an X1 or X2 visa at the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country by using our materials. For further details on the visa approval process, please check with Chinese Embassy or Consulate in your home country.
