关于延迟2020年春季学期开学时间的通知

    目前，中国正在应对由新型冠状病毒引起的突发公共卫生事件， 根据省教育厅要求，经学校研究，2020年春季学期开学报到时间将延迟至2月24日或之后，具体报到及开学时间将视疫情防控进展情况另行通知。

为了大家的健康和安全，请务必不要提前入境，这是对病毒实施隔离与遏制的关键及必要步骤。收到请回复，回复邮件请务必包含您的姓名、国籍，护照号码和出生年月，并请关注邮箱以及时获取春季学期开学的进一步通知。

We hope you safe and healthy.

As we all know, China is now coping with a public health emergency caused by the new coronavirus. Based on the requirement by Department of Education of Shandong Province, notification is given by Qingdao University that the opening of spring semester, 2020 will be POSTPONED until on or after Feb.24. The exact date for registration and follow-up arrangement will be informed based on epidemic prevention and control situation.

For your health and safety, all the students shall not enter into China in advance. This is a key and necessary step to isolate and contain the virus. Please reply this email immediately, including your NAME, NATIONNALITY, PASSPORT NO. and BIRTH DATE, and please pay attention to your email box which shall receive the next email about what the new starting date of 2020 spring semester will be.
